Remove default text when starting a new document
Every time you start a new document, you get the default welcome text. After a while that gets very annoying. I'd love to have it turned of after it showed once.

It's pretty obscure right now. But if you open Terminal.app and type:
It will go away.

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering about this as well. I think future versions should include the option to remove this text.

Not an option to remove the text, just make it a "oncer", to open once only (people can save it as a doc if they want to read it again). IAWriter does this whenever there is an upgrade. The first time you use it after an upgrade, you get a document explaining what has been done. Very effective. I can close it with or without saving, and it doesn't appear again.
