I would love to be able to specify a different default extension
for FoldingText documents. It's not a huge deal to adjust in in the
save dialog, but most of the plain text editors that I use that
will be interoperating with FoldingText using things like .txt or
.markdown, so it would save me a little bit of time when creating a
new document to be able to specify a different default extension
that .ft. I'm comfortable working with hidden preferences if that's
what it takes.
Alternately, if the program remembered what extension that I
have most recently entered in the Save dialog when creating a
document, that would work just as well.

latest release should solve this. It defaults to (ft), but if
you save a new file with a different extension, then it will
default to that extension in the future.
