Clipping from web pages to the end of a FoldingText clippings file

In response to this question about clipping from websites to FoldingText

https://twitter.com/kevinrothermel/status/530810484937986048

here is one approach (for Safari, sketched in Yosemite Javascript for Applications) which assumes (and can create) a Clippings.txt file in your nvAlt folder, but can be adapted to append clippings to a file elsewhere.

Note that if you were tying this script to a Keyboard Maestro macro with, for example a ⌘⌥C mapping for Safari, you would need to do it with an Execute Shell Script action with a command line of the form:

osascript -l JavaScript (followed by the path to the script file, which you can test in Script Editor)

(case sensitive)

	var dctOptions = {
		clipfile: "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Notational Velocity/Clippings.txt",
		clipheadings: "### ",
		urlprefix: "- ",
		datetimetag: "clipped",
